FAQ

Common questions

Is the Random Wheel Picker really random?+
Yes. It uses your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator when available, falling back to a standard generator only if that API is missing.
Does this tool store or upload my list of names?+
No. Everything runs client-side in your browser using session storage on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I give some entries a better chance of winning?+
Yes. Add a weight after any entry, like "Name | 3", to make it three times as likely to be picked as an unweighted entry.
Can I remove a winner after they're picked?+
Turn on "Remove winner" in Settings and each winner is automatically removed from the wheel after their spin, which is useful for raffles with multiple prizes.
